Beyond her triumphant performance on [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Lady Gaga[/lastfm]’s “Telephone” video last year, we really haven’t seen much of [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Beyonce[/lastfm].

She’s kept herself well-guarded from paparazzi, although apparently this has inspired a wave of rougue photographers showing up to her video shoots and trying to grab whatever pics of her they can.

Some people got their own “sneak peak” of Beyonce making the video for her comeback single, “Girl,” and learned some more details.

Beyonce’s video shoot took place in the Mojave Desert, California, was directed by Francis Lawrence, and features up to 200 females in the cast. The song is described as a “female empowerment/girl power type song”, but also a “club banger”.

We don’t care if Bey sings a ballad, a polka, or a Spanish lullaby. We just want to hear some new Beyonce music…”Flaws And All.”
