You know, the boy band that launched Nick Lachey into B-list celebrity status?
Yeah, them. Well, it looks like there’s another member of the long forgotten man-band in need of a little attention.
Second string hot guy of the group, Jeff Timmons, just signed a contract to get down to his thong and bow tie with the Las Vegas Chippendale’s show!
That’s right, the JV squad of [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]98 Degrees[/lastfm], Jeff Timmons, is set to begin dancing in his panties for approximately four weeks in May 2011. Plan your vacation now ladies!
The 37-year-old singer will shake his thermometer at the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino from May 12th through June 5th, according to a press release on Chippendale’s website which promises “the temperature will rise” (hey oh!) when Timmons “flexes his vocal chords and muscles” as the act’s guest star and emcee.
“In addition to selling more than 15 million albums worldwide, 98 Degrees produced such mega-hits as ‘The Hardest Thing,’ ‘I Do (Cherish You),’ ‘Invisible Man,’ ‘Give Me Just One Night (Una Noche),’ ‘Because of You’ and the number one hit single featuring Mariah Carey ‘Thank God I Found You,'” the release generously says.
“The group also collaborated with legend Stevie Wonder on ‘True to Your Heart’ from Disney’s hit animated feature Mulan. 98 Degrees’ albums have reached gold or platinum status in more than sixty countries around the world.”
Timmons will hit the stage Thursday through Sunday nights.
