Each week, we’re more and more impressed with what NBC’s The Voice has to offer.

Sure, we may be a tad biased since our morning show guru, Carson, is the host, but these contestants have some serious talent!

Plus, at AMP Radio, we give you something no one else can provide: Carson’s insider info about the contestants, coaches, and behind-the-scenes buzz.

Did your favorite make it through this week’s battle round? Only one way to find out!

Just like last week, each coach pitted two of their teammates against each other in a sing off.

Only 1 survives the battle round and the winner is declared by the contestants’ coach.

Listen to what Carson thought about last night’s show:

Let’s break down each battle!

Nakia vs. Tje Austin — “Closer”

Two standout voices kicked off the show with this [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Ne-Yo[/lastfm] hit.

At first, we thought this was the perfect fit for Tje, an R&B master, but Nakia came from behind and delivered a solid performance.

The coaches all seemed pretty conflicted.  [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Adam Levine[/lastfm] was glad not to be the coach deciding this battle. He commented:

You guys were both fantastic. I’d be crushed to let either one of you guys go.

[lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Cee Lo[/lastfm] had a tough decision on his hands, but there could only be one winner…
