It might be argued that with his laid-back, intelligent pop-rap electronica, [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Mike Posner[/lastfm]’s songwriting is the wave of the future.
And the sexy Duke University geek definitely uses all of his mathematical genius in reconstructing songs to make amazing covers that hardly sound like the original song.
Case in point: His melodic, stylish re-working of [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Coldplay[/lastfm]’s hit song, “The Scientist.”
Sort of a cerebral chick myself, I dig on the refined post-party afterglow quality of Posner’s music.
While Posner released his 2010 album 31 Minutes To Take-Off to critical acclaim, we just aren’t hearing enough of Posner’s pretty pop-rap in our lives.
If you are into his polished swagger, help a brother out.
