After it was announced that [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Nicole Scherzinger[/lastfm] from the[lastfm link_type="artist_info"] Pussycat Dolls[/lastfm] will become the host of Simon Cowell’s infamous X Factor show and the beautiful pop star talked to Carson Daly in-studio, Scherzinger released a groove-laden reggae-tinged video with [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]50 cent[/lastfm] for her newest single on the AMP rotation called “Right There.”
Check out the song and video and tell us what you think after the jump!
Nicole Scherzinger is bringing it on strong with her first United States single from her upcoming debut solo album, Killer Love.
The song has a Rihanna-esque a la “What’s My Name” sound.
Similar to[lastfm link_type="artist_info"] Rihanna[/lastfm]‘s video for “What’s My Name” (which took place in New York), the video for “Right There” takes place on the city streets of Los Angeles with Scherzinger prancing around in sexy clothes and encouraging her man to talk dirty.
The similarities between the two songs are pretty shocking, so it’s a good thing that the beat for “Right There” is completely infectious. We can look past copy-cat songs merely based on their danceability–and the fact that we adore Scherzinger.
What do you think of Scherzinger’s “Right There?” The dreamy doll wants to know!
