The last time I talked to [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Sean Kingston[/lastfm] was right here in town at L.A. Live for [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Justin Bieber[/lastfm]‘s ‘Never Say Never’ movie premiere. That was the second time I’d met him and he was always nice, not to mention SO incredibly young!

Needless to say, I was saddened to hear about the accident over the weekend that left the ‘Beautiful Girls’ singer and female companion hospitalized. My sympathies go out to their families and a lot of celebs like [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Rihanna[/lastfm] and [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Nicki Minaj[/lastfm] have Tweeted their feelings over the past day.

According to CBS News, [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Sean Kingston[/lastfm] (age 21) and a female passenger were jet skiiing on Sunday when they crashed into a Miami bridge. They were both sent to the trauma center of a nearby hospital and although there haven’t been many updates since, word was released from his record label that they are “now stabilized.”

Sean Kingston was featured in Justin Bieber’s song that AMP Radio played called ‘Eenie Meenie’ which is why he was at the ‘Never Say Never’ movie premiere in support. You can catch my interview with him at about 2:55 in this video.
