This past weekend, the stars of the hit TV show Glee took over SoCal with performances at both the Staples Center and Honda Center.
The lovely people at AMP Radio hooked me up with some tickets so I could check out all the action in person!
I’m a huge Gleek, so the kids of McKinley High had a lot to live up to.
Did they exceed my expectations? Keep reading to find out!
I may have just turned 25, but Glee Live had me screaming like I was a 13-year-old teenybopper.
I don’t know how to explain it, but there’s something about seeing these uber-talented stars up close and personal that made me all giddy!
The crew performed an impressive 25 songs, but the concert seemed to fly by more quickly than their 1-hour weekly episodes.
My favorite part had to be their rendition of [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Lady Gaga[/lastfm]‘s “Born This Way.” They even donned the same self-conscious shirts that they sported on the show.
And it wasn’t just about the singing. The spectacle at Staples highlighted the incredible dancing skills of both [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Heather Morris[/lastfm] (Brittany) and [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Harry Shum Jr.[/lastfm] (Mike Chang).
