The Voice rebounded last night with a series-high 14.4 million viewers!
And now that the battle rounds are all wrapped up, each coach is left with 4 team members to take to the live shows.
So who are the most promising contenders from this week?
Own very own Carson Daly is giving us his breakdown of yesterday’s episode.
Take a listen to his thoughts about the fourth and final battle round:
Didn’t catch last night’s duets? No problem! We’ve got you covered!
Jeff Jenkins & Casey Desmond — “Don’t Let The Sun Go Down On Me”
We knew at this point that everyone is super talented, but gosh darnit, we hate to see people go!
Fan favorite country singer Jeff was paired up with the punk princess Casey for this [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Elton John[/lastfm] classic.
Seems like this is totally in Jeff’s comfort zone, but could Casey launch a surprise attack for the win?
[lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Adam Levine[/lastfm] was forced to make a choice…Vodpod videos no longer available.
Sara Oromchi vs. Xenia — “I’ll Stand By You”
Like Producer Angie mentioned, Team [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Blake Shelton[/lastfm]’s duet was definitely the most awkward battle of the night.
The two shyest contenders just weren’t able to come out of their shells for this power ballad.
It came down to Xenia’s unique tone versus Sara’s broader vocal range.

Cherie Oakley vs. Lily Elise — “Since U Been Gone”
[lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Christina Aguilera[/lastfm] had one of the toughest decisions this week, with Lily, the vivacious belter going up against backup country singer Cherie.
In fact, during the coaches’ critique, we found out Cherie actually co-wrote a #1 song for [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Blake Shelton[/lastfm]‘s adviser, [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Reba McEntire[/lastfm]!
With all this great talent, Christina made sure to pick a difficult song to challenge her team.
Long story short. They delivered.Vodpod videos no longer available.
Curtis Grimes vs. Emily Valentine — “Need You Now”
They say opposites attract, and CLEARLY that’s what’s going on with Team [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Cee Lo Green[/lastfm].
In the midst of prepping for one of the most important performances of their lives, the country boy and the punk rocker chick found some time for love!
But like every tragic love story, they had to be torn apart.
However did Cee Lo make his decision??
Plus, you don’t want to miss the surprise ending to this battle!Vodpod videos no longer available.
The coaches have narrowed it down to the final 16 and now it’s our turn to decide the big winner.
