June is in full swing, so that means we’re spending lots of time outside.
It’s the perfect opportunity to check out all the food trucks on the streets of LA!
This week, we’re enjoying some great grub from Atomic Hog!
Co-owners Maxon and Maita are SoCal natives who have known each other for 15 years.
They told Carson all about what it takes to run their Mediterranean fusion truck:
Atomic Hog was actually launched in June of 2009 all the way in Austin, Texas under the name The Flying Pig Sandwich Company.
Maxson and his wife had moved east specifically to open the truck, but when they heard the foodie fad was taking off in Los Angeles, they moved back here to set up shop.
The truck serves up a variety of sandwiches, falafels, tacos, wraps, and their famous crispy fries.
They set themselves apart from trucks with their BAMwich, a mix of beef and lamb shawarma, but fear not vegetarians! They also have delicious options for you too.
Congratulations to David from Tustin! He and his co-workers are eating like kings today.
