[lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Lady Gaga[/lastfm] is a lady that knows what she wants. This fact is completely apparent not only by her success, but by her super interesting wardrobe choices.
So when I heard that she may have fired director Joseph Kahn from her “Edge Of Glory” music video, let’s just say I certainly wasn’t surprised.
But it’s all a bunch of Twitter rumors…or is it?
Kahn, who’s best known for directing music videos for heavy hitters like [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Eminem[/lastfm], [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Britney Spears[/lastfm] & [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Katy Perry[/lastfm] took to Twitter to explain his involvement in Lady Gaga’s new music video:
After he Tweeted that, he said continued explaining that he doesn’t co-direct….hmm, wonder what that means???
After he posted that he continued to say that it wasn’t geared towards the video he DID NOT DIRECT for Lady Gaga.
This is super crazy. I wonder if it means that Lady Gaga and Kahn had the sort of “creative differences” that caused Gaga to direct her own video, if Kahn really was more of a “creative consultant.”
There’s only one way to find out. The video debuts tomorrow, so I guess we’ll find out if in addition to music and fashion, Lady Gaga can also be called an accomplished director.
