At this point, we’re pretty sure you’ve seen [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Katy Perry[/lastfm]‘s music video for “Last Friday Night (TGIF).”

So you probably already know why I love it so, so much.  Like seriously, gurrrrrl.

Well, some dude on the interwebz decided to add a little something to Katy’s summer anthem and give it more of a classical edge, his violin and the results are, um, classic-al.

If anything can class up a party anthem it’s a little classical violin.  However, it’s done super well and actually works with the song.  For a second I worried it would sound cheesy or detract from it, but it totally worked.

I just wonder how Katy feels about this.  I mean, if she can get down with [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Kenny G[/lastfm] & the saxophone I’m sure she’d be into the violin.

Also, did you check out the violinist’s sweet beard?  I bet it makes a nice cushion for his face.  HOORAY FOR SWEET BEARDS AND AWESOME PARTY ANTHEMS!

Wait, sweet beards–maybe [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Ke$ha[/lastfm] should give this dude a call.  He might be her soul mate.
