It’s clear that The Voice is the breakout hit of the summer.
Over the past few weeks, we’ve gotten to know and love the four finalists: [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Vicci Martinez[/lastfm], [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Javier Colon[/lastfm], [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Dia Frampton[/lastfm] and [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Beverly McClellan[/lastfm].
First, we met them in the blind auditions, where the star-studded coaching panel chose them based on the sound of their voice alone.
Then, they sang for their lives in the battle rounds.
And last night, they premiered original songs in hopes of capturing America’s vote.
Well, things finally came to a close tonight and we now know who is the big winner!
WARNING: MAJOR SPOILER ALERT AHEAD!!!
A bunch of us at AMP Radio sat in the live studio audience to support our morning show guru Carson and we can tell you that the atmosphere was electric.
Based on the iTunes sales, it seemed like it was a dead heat and we were anxiously awaiting Carson’s big reveal of the winning name!
This morning, we had to get a full breakdown from the host himself:
During the hour-long episode, each contestant got to perform a song with a famous musician.

Usually Miss Vicki sings intense songs with tons of emotion and it was a refreshing change to see her have a little fun tonight.
She seemed to truly enjoy her final moments on stage and showed no signs of nerves.
Her coach Cee Lo couldn’t help but dance in his chair like a proud poppa!
The [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Train[/lastfm] number showed off her range as an artist and we liked seeing this new side of her.
