mccabe [Video] Working For McCabe Is Not Easy

There are many jobs one can be assigned when working at AMP Radio: promotions, on-air personality, producer, phone operator, etc.

Of all these positions, it sometimes feels like the modest phone operators have the most interesting job.

The actual phone calls themselves can be incredibly entertaining. Routinely, we get everything from, “Is [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Justin Bieber[/lastfm] there?!” to, “Who’s the iPad Tag winner?” and everything in between.

Sometimes the calls make sense, sometimes they don’t, either way it’s a blast.

Working closely with the AMP Radio DJs like McCabe can also be fun, but sometimes it requires putting up with diva behavior.

Don’t believe me? Check out what a typical day of working with McCabe is like- and don’t forget, this is between the hours of 7 p.m. and midnight when most people have long ended their day of work.

The best (and worst) part is you never knowing what’s going to happen in the studio or the hallways and you never know what’s going to be required of you.

By the way, do us a favor: Tweet McCabe and ask him why his M&M preferences depend on what holiday it is and then give us a call and tell us, because we still can’t figure it out.

And I promise, we’re not complaining. Answering the phones at AMP Radio is definitely one of the finest gigs you can have.

FYI, McCabe likes his tea lukewarm.
