Uh oh…is there trouble in paradise?

For those of you who have ever been in a relationship, you know going on a break is never a very promising sign.

Nevertheless, the [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Black Eyed Peas[/lastfm] announced they will be taking off an indefinite amount of time.

If any group can survive a little time apart, it’s definitely BEP.

The pop super group took their first break from 2005-2009 so [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Fergie[/lastfm] could launch her solo career.

The “Fergalicious” songstress announced their latest split during a show in England:

We want you to know that we love you and thank you for the support you’ve given from the beginning.

Band member [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Will.i.am[/lastfm] later tried to assure his fans on Twitter that there’s still more in store for the group.

The @Bep will take a break after the beginning…just like we did from monkey business to the e.n.d…but it doesn't mean we stop creating—

Hopefully this means we can expect another album from [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Fergie[/lastfm] in the meantime…it’s been way too long!
