AMP Radio only started bumping [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Lloyd[/lastfm]‘s new track “Dedication To My Ex (Miss That)” about a week ago, but it’s already become one of our favorites!

And it looks like others are starting to take notice of this catchy retro tune.

Currently, [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Lloyd[/lastfm] is making waves on Rolling Stone’s Hot List, powering his way through to #1!

Rolling Stone dubbed his new hit single the “Forget You” of 2011, mainly because of its vintage sound combined with an “R-rated chorus!”

And the good news doesn’t stop there.  The music magazine rated his King of Hearts album at 3 1/2 stars.

They applaud [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Lloyd[/lastfm] saying:

King of Hearts has taut production (mostly by Polow da Don) that takes in everything from synthy club pop to retro-soul, but what holds it together is the salacious silliness.
