It’s been a busy few days here at AMP Radio.
First, [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Lady Gaga[/lastfm] performed her new single “You And I” live in-studio, then we hit up the kick off of The Voice Live tour and just yesterday, Miss [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Kelly Rowland[/lastfm] stopped by to chat with Michelle.
So what better way to celebrate the end of the week than with some delicious eats!
It’s the first time we’ve had an Indian food truck come by the studio and let me tell you, it was worth the wait!
Brothers Samir and Neal told Carson why they wanted to start up a truck here in Los Angeles.
NaanStop launched at the beginning of this year and has been on a roll ever since.
Samir and Neal grew up in Nashville with a mother who had a talent for cooking Indian food.
Everywhere they went, people were asking their family to bring food to parties and gatherings.
Once the two brothers found their way out to LA, they decided to start NaanStop to expose SoCal to Indian food in a simple and approachable way.
They accomplish this with their innovation, the Naanwich. Basically, they take Indian flavored meats & vegetarian options, wrap them in fresh Naan bread with a unique blend of spices and chutneys, and serve them to the masses.
But if that’s not enough, they also cook a mean samosa and Masala fries!
Congratulations to Crista from Whittier! She scored a free lunch for all her work buddies at the Los Angeles Film School!
Didn’t win today? Then, you should listen to Carson every Friday morning for your next chance!
