[photogallerylink id=112313]The first fan on TinyChat got to ask Kelly Rowland what we can expect from her new album. Rowland replied:

[pullquote quote="I didn't want to put myself in a box."] “I have so enjoyed putting this album together. I will just bust out of my seat. For one, it’s been so long. And thank you guys for being so patient with me on this album. The album is exciting; the album is sassy; the album is sensual; it’s a sexy album. I am very proud of it.

“I didn’t know that it would kind of come out on this album, but it did.  That’s thanks to Rico Love. I love me some Rico Love.”

“I didn’t want to put myself in a box. So many people asked me ‘Are you going to do an urban record? Are you going to do a dance record?’ And to me it was just about making great music.”

A young girl from California ask Rowland what she would be doing if she wasn’t famous what kind of career she would have. Rowland’s answer might have been surprising to some. She showed off her inner healer:

“I would want to be a vet…A doctor because of Grey’s Anatomy.  It makes it look so great. Or a psychiatrist…I just really like the idea of the human mind, the body is amazing how it heals itself. I love animals. I don’t want to see them sick.”

Another fan asked Rowland what her biggest struggle during the album was. According to Rowland, her biggest struggle was having way too much good material:

[pullquote quote="My inspiration was Whitney Houston."]“The biggest struggle during the album was…more so breaking down all the song because I would fall in love for different reasons with each record that I recorded. There wasn’t just the song that you guys are hearing on the album and on the deluxe. There were like fifty more songs.”

“I fell in love with all of them…the ones that I fell in love with, I was like, ‘what happens to those records?’ These were the ones that just told a great story for Here I Am. So, probably dwindling the songs down was the hardest part.”

A super cute (and relatively new) fan to Kelly Rowland asked her how she started her career and how she got her inspiration. Rowland explained:

“My inspiration was Whitney Houston. When I started singing, I was honestly about five years old. Professionally, or with the girls, I was around eleven…I’ve been singing for a long time and I absolutely love it. I still love it ’til this day.”

“It’s what I think about when I wake up in the morning. It’s what I dream about in my sleep.  I breathe it.  I love music. Love music. I don’t know what would happen to me if I couldn’t sing.”

The biggest question that Kelly Rowland probably gets is: Is Destiny’s Child getting back together? Rowland gave a vague answer to keep her fans guessing:

[pullquote quote="It's what I think about when I wake up in the morning. It's what I dream about in my sleep. I breathe it. I love music. Love music. I don't know what would happen to me if I couldn't sing."]“We haven’t talked about it. Like the other night I had a [record release party]. It was myself, B, and Michelle. It did not come up one time in conversation. “

Rowland did have kind words to say about Beyonce’s new album, Michelle, and her friendship with them:

“Enjoy 4. ‘Party’ is my record and so is ‘Til The End Of Time.’ Michelle is working on her record now. We’re all just doing different things. And solo things. And enjoying each other’s friendship above all. We love it.”

A great question came from a sweet fan who asked Rowland who she would like to collaborate with. Rowland replied controversially:

“Ooo, that’s a good question…I probably have to say Kanye. I love Kanye West. I would love to get a chance to work with Kanye. And Drake.”

The question that seemed to move Rowland the most was when she was asked, “What is the best part about being you?” An impressed Rowland answered:

“Oh, wow. Four. It’s actually four. My faith. I’m so connected spiritually and so happy…My family…My third one is my friends…and my fans. That’s the best thing about being me. “

“My faith, my family, my friends, and my fans.”
