Our girl [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Nicki Minaj[/lastfm] is already a cartoon character. Did you see her doing her best Pebbles Flinstone meets ’90s graffitti Barbie impression this morning on Good Morning America? And[lastfm link_type="artist_info"] Kanye West[/lastfm]. Well. He can just be sort of cartoon-ish acting.
Following in the footsteps of Smurftacular [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Katy Perry[/lastfm], West and Minaj are scheduled to appear on The Cleveland Show as animated versions of themselves.
And what will be the premise of the show you ask?
The oft-rumored hip-hop illuminati. Minaj and West will appear and contribute music with [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Will.i.am[/lastfm], [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Bruno Mars[/lastfm], and [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]The Roots[/lastfm]‘ drummer [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]?uestlove [/lastfm]in an episode about the Illuminati.
The voice of Cleveland, Mike Henry, elaborates:
“We have a rap Illuminati episode that’s going to be happening,…We have an episode where Kanye and will.i.am, playing himself, and Nicki Minaj, playing herself, and Bruno Mars, playing himself, and ?uestlove—they’re all part of the rap Illuminati, the secret group that controls pop culture.”
Executive producer Rich Appel also gave some details: “Cleveland inadvertently breaks into it and then it’s how he will either bring them down or they’ll bring him down. We have a couple of original songs with Kanye and will and Bruno, I mean, all of them, it was great.”
We don’t know when it will be up, but hopefully it’s as awesome as this:
