[lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Lady Gaga[/lastfm] might have been Born This Way, but according to many music critics, haters, and bandwagon jumpers, Mother Monster’s music wasn’t born from her musical womb, but taken from the musical adoption agency.
Another person, [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Rebecca Francescatti[/lastfm], is suing Lady Gaga for alleged copyright infringement on Gaga’s song “Judas” which she says sounds like her 1999 song “Juda.”
According to TMZ, Chicago-based singer Rebecca Francescatti claims her 1999 song ”Juda” has a few similarities with Gaga’s track, including similar chorus and melody.
Coincidentally, Francescatti’s former bass player Brian Gaynor is employed by a music company that wrote seventeen songs for Gaga’s Born This Way album.
Which begs the question: After millions of pieces of music have been made, when can something truly be totally unique?
Here’s Francescatti’s “Juda.”
