After the impressive, yet aggressive sophistication of hip-hop joint “Otis” was released on the world, we thought [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Kanye West[/lastfm]‘s and [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Jay-Z[/lastfm]‘s video for the song would hearken back to the old days of soul, or maybe just even be a brandy-sipper, cigar-chewer.
Instead, the video totally disregards any of the old ideals about music or hip-hop videos. It’s decidedly mischeivious, natural, and, in a way, totally rock ‘n roll.
While this Spike Jonze directed video is super simple in concept, what we like most about is that you can actually see Hova and Yeezy’s personalities shine through. Who wouldn’t want to tear up an expensive car and go for a joy ride in it with these two naughty moneymakers.
Especially since the car is being auctioned and given away to charity.
