Don’t get me wrong. AMP Radio loves Los Angeles.

We wouldn’t trade living here for anything, but every once in a while, we do come down with a little case of NYC envy.

Why, you ask? Because just like our fair city, New Yorkers often get treated to exclusive performances from the world’s most popular entertainers.

Last week, we told you about how [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Beyonce[/lastfm] sold out her first of four NYC concerts in just 22 seconds.

Well, based on the footage captured at last night’s kick off, we can see why the pop star is in such high demand!

[lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Beyonce[/lastfm] took over the Roseland Ballroom in New York City on Sunday night with a 20-piece band backing her up.

She glitzed up the joint in a gold mini dress while performing a selection of hits from her latest album, 4.

Queen B got the audience to sing in unison to her break-up anthem, “Best Thing I Never Had.”

Then the crowd started jumping and fist pumping when she whipped out, “Run The World (Girls)!”

Since everybody was in such a good mood already, B decided to keep the party going until the “End Of Time!”

[lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Beyonce[/lastfm]’s NYC mini-tour kicks into overdrive this week with performances on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.

  • Do you think [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Beyonce[/lastfm] should come to Los Angeles to perform a similar set of concerts? Tell us why or why not in the comments!
