Sunday was a busy night for the reigning queen of rap, [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Nicki Minaj[/lastfm]!

First, she showed up to the VMAs in quite possibly the show’s most “unique” ensemble and then she picked up a Moonman for Best Hip Hop Video.

But that simply wasn’t enough. After the awards show wrapped up, she high-tailed it to the STAPLES Center for a surprise performance with [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Taylor Swift[/lastfm]!

During her Speak Now tour, [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Taylor Swift[/lastfm] has been doing all sorts of cover songs and surprise duets.

Since everyone AND their brother was in town for the VMAs, we knew Swifty would have something epic planned.

And just like clockwork, the crowd erupted in screams when [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Nicki Minaj[/lastfm] took the stage.

You’d think that country cutie Taylor would be a little out of her element, but she held her own, spitting Nicki’s rhymes like a pro.
