One might joke that[lastfm link_type="artist_info"] Kanye West[/lastfm] is already a “puppet” of modern culture. He’d probably take massive offense to it and, truthfully, West is such an individualistic dude that he’s not really a pop “puppet.” More like the puppet master.
Quite fittingly, at one point Yeezy was working on a puppet show for Comedy Central called Alligator Boots.
Featuring Crank Yankers-looking puppets, super dirty humor (this clip is NSFW, kiddos) and “celebrity guests” like Kim Kardashian, Alligator Boots sort of went nowhere. And for that, we are very sad.
Alligator Boots aren’t just something Kanye West tweets about while posing Twitpics of him posing on a jet.
Although the “hip-hop puppet show” never got off the ground, Alligator Shoes is something we hope, hope, hope someone at Comedy Central somehow makes into a web special.
The premise of the show looks hilarious. Also, way too provocative for normal television. Puppet private parts! Yikes.
And, maybe ninjas?
