FREEDOM! [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]T.I.[/lastfm] just got out of the half-way house and instead of a flashy tour bus, like last time, T.I. skipped out a little after midnight in a chauffeured SUV.
[photogallerylink id=54569 align=left]This concludes his 11-month sentence for violating the probation he received after he was convicted of federal weapons charges in 2007.
The Grand Hustle captain already has plans to celebrate his release, as we previously reported, with a 100K brunch bash for his friends and family, including [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Diddy[/lastfm].
And on the music front, this Rubberband Man already has some new music in the works. T.I’s longtime collaborator, [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]DJ Drama[/lastfm] promises that his first post-prison track will not disappoint, “Me and Tip have been friends, working together for almost a decade now, so we know what we gotta do. It’s really time to get to work and get to the music,” and that’s what they did.
The track is produced by Southern rapper/producer [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Big K.R.I.T[/lastfm] and promises to be great, “The record is hot,” Drama continued, “Big K.R.I.T. deserves it. He’s been working for a long time. So they’re both fans of each other, so sh– is definitely gonna be a nice sound for the ear.”
Before we get into new T.I. check out this single from his first album.

[photogallerylink id=95579 align=left]Fresh off the success of his platinum selling album, Tha Carter IV, [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Lil Wayne[/lastfm] is excited to report that he is happy. In fact, according to Weezy, the whole rap game is happy, “There’s no competition [with any artists]. Music isn’t about competition no more. All the gangster rappers are happy, all the skateboard rappers are happy, all the white rappers are happy. … Everybody just happy to do music these days,” he told Vibe Magazine. He continued, “There are no problems. That sh– died a long time ago with them old-ass rappers. We are just making music, making money and having fun — feeding our families. Competition is for the old guys.”
This is an interesting sentiment coming from the guy who just took a jab at [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Jay-Z[/lastfm] on his Carter IV track, “I’m Good,” still there seems to be no foreseeable comeback from Jay, so maybe Tunechi has a point.
While rap battling is an integral part of hip hop history, the practice seems to be dwindling as rap and pop music inch closer together and things like crossover appeal mark the sign of a great artist more so than street credibility.
This is exactly the type of song, that has allowed Lil Wayne to keep a broad audience in music. “Knockout” by Lil Wayne ft. Nicki Minaj
[photogallerylink id=120296 align=left]Every pregnancy is different. Some women crave things like clay and fish sticks, other can’t eat or even see anything red without having to run towards a bathroom just moments after. Luckily, [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Beyonce[/lastfm] isn’t THAT bad.
As of now, its just Jay-Z’s signature Rocawear scent that drives her crazy. No big deal, or anything.
The starlet, like her hubby, is keeping hush-hush on the sex of the baby, but she reportedly already bought pink Christian Louboutin baby booties. Telling! We hope they come clean soon so we can send them our list of baby names.
Be-Jay Carter-Knowles, anyone? That’s unisex even! Work it!
