While[lastfm link_type="artist_info"] Rihanna[/lastfm] will always be red-hot to us (regardless of her hair color), the scantily-clad farmer-frustrater of “We Found Love” fame rocked a platinum blonde Marilyn Monroe-esque do for the cover of Vogue UK.
[pullquote quote="The things I say in my songs, they expect it of me and being a role model became more of my job than I wanted it to be." credit="Rihanna"]Vogue covers are pretty iconic in the fashion industry and Rihanna’s is in perfect timing with the release of her sixth studio album out November 21st.

According to Idolator, RiRi used Vogue as a platform to vent on how she doesn’t want to be viewed as a role model. Says Rihanna (via The Sun):
“See, people — especially white people — they want me to be a role model just because of the life I lead. The things I say in my songs, they expect it of me and being a role model became more of my job than I wanted it to be.”
“But no, I just want to make music. That’s it. Look, God doesn’t give any more than you can handle. I had to get through a lot of ups and downs – big downs – and a lot of trial and error to get where I am now.”
