You’d think that being pregnant is hard enough, but runner Amber Miller wasn’t satisfied by just resting on her laurels for the last few days of her pregnancy.
In fact, Amber did something most of us won’t EVER accomplish in our lifetime. She ran the Chicago Marathon.
Yes, 26.2 miles!
But just because she crossed the finish line didn’t mean she was done for the day.
Hours later, she raced to the hospital to drop it like it’s hot!
At 38 weeks pregnant, Amber never expected to finish the race.
Her typical marathon time is around 3 and half hours, but with a combination of running and walking, she finished in just under 6 hours and 26 minutes.
It wasn’t long afterwards that Amber noticed something was up:
Our own Producer Angie is a fitness nut who’s expecting her first little one in a few months, so we were dying to hear what she thought about all this!
Amber’s been a runner for quite awhile and worked out during her first pregnancy, so it seemed like no big deal to her.
Thankfully, everything turned out just fine. Amber and her hubby welcomed a healthy, 7-lb., 13-oz. baby girl!
- Do you think she’s nuts for running a marathon so close to her due date or should we give her a medal for her will power? Sound off in the comments!
