Ever since Toronto-based R&B singer and producer Abel Tesfaye, a/k/a [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]The Weeknd[/lastfm], released his first free mixtape House of Balloons in March and ostensibly became recommended by[lastfm link_type=”artist_info”] Drake [/lastfm], we’ve been all over the newly-rising emo R&B sound.
Tesfaye and [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Illangelo[/lastfm] got together with [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Lady Gaga [/lastfm]and totally did an R&B rework on her newest single, “Marry The Night.” They made it into something almost unrecognizable but equally as sultry and gorgeous in its own way.
This very different version of “Marry The Night” will appear on Gaga’s Born This Way – The Remix album on November 21st.
Mother Monster has been up to some big things lately. As well as her very public media stance on being nice, spreading love, and anti-bullying, Gaga has herself launched the Born This Way Foundation focused on youth empowerment and anti-bullying.
What a fabulous way for this gorgeous, inspiring queen to wrap up the year!
