[lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Britney Spears[/lastfm] has more or less conquered the music world since she first burst on the scene in 1999. Winning a Grammy, MuchMusic Awards, VMAs, Billboard Awards, Teen Choice, Kids Choice, the list really goes on and on.
In fact some of Britney’s acting has even been acknowledged by awards committees. In 2002 Britney was nominated for the MTV Movie Awards for her starring role in the 2002 film, “Crossroads“.
Well if you liked her in that role, then keep an eye out for Brit, as she hopes to take on even more acting in the near future.
[photogallerylink id=120706 align=left]Britney recently dished that she was ready to take a break from music and give acting another chance, “Definitely next year I am going to take a different route,” said the “I Wanna Go” singer. She see’s herself as strong character, “I see myself being a detective, assassin or even a bad girl,” she added.
This definitely goes with her current Femme Fatale theme we’ve seen from the starlet lately. Especially in videos like “Criminal,” “I Wanna Go,” an “Till The World Ends,” all her latest visuals.
But she isn’t closing any doors, Brit also has a possible future in comedic acting roles, like her cameo on “How I Met Your Mother.” Apparently, the singer received numerous praises from the cast and crew, “[Britney] was so funny, and she already had her character down pat,” Alyson Hannigan, who plays Lily on the show, said about her experience with Britney. “I had no idea she had such great comic timing,” she added. “She came up with stuff that had everyone laughing,” added co-star, Jason Segel. “She’s definitely a comedian.”
Well I always knew she had timing comedy spunk. I just think back on all those episodes of the Mickey Mouse Club and it’s right there. All of those kids had chops. [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Justin Timberlake[/lastfm] still wows us with his humor with roles in movies and on Saturday Night Live. And who doesn’t know Ryan Gosling to crack a great smile while delivering a witty quip?
MMC has some battle tested veterans. I can’t wait to see what Britney has up her sleeves for us.

If you weren’t aware that [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Lady Gaga[/lastfm] was a household name, let me clear all of your remaining doubts. This Thanksgiving, expect to share you stuffing and pie with none other than Mother Monster.
[photogallerylink id=128568 align=left]Gaga will be featured in her own 90-minute holiday special entitled “A Very Gaga Thanksgiving.” In the special, which Lady Gaga directed herself, she will take time to answer fan questions and promises to give a peek into her personal life.
She also will be performing 8 songs including her latest singles, “Marry The Night,” “You and I” and “The Edge of Glory,” as well as the holiday tune “White Christmas” and her duet with Tony Bennet “The Lady is a Tramp.”
Though this isn’t the entire set list, it’s already impeccable. I’ve already got reminder on my TV, because this is one I won’t be missing!
The ABC special also features an interview by Katie Couric at Gaga’s old Alma Mater, Sacred Heart Catholic School in Manhattan. “We all know Lady Gaga is a phenomenon. This is a chance to see more of who she is beneath the wild costumes and staged musical numbers,” said Couric. “She will impress you, delight you and surprise you.”
Well duh! That’s why we tune in.
Prepare to be surprised on Thanksgiving Day, November 24th, on ABC at 8PM EST.

[lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Nicki Minaj[/lastfm] is already all about fashion, so it makes so much sense that H&M and Versace thought of her to help usher in their brand new line together, Versace for H&M.
But wait, that’s just the tip of this iceberg, the two fashion firms have also pulled in the artist, the one, Prince to share musical duties with her Minajesty. According to Women’s Wear Daily, the Young Money rapper “will bring her colorful stage show to the launch event…” “Fashion insiders will also be treated to a post-show performance by the one and only Prince.”
[photogallerylink id=119796 align=left]The event is going down in New York City, but the line will launch storewide. This marks a significant moment for Nicki and even Prince in regards to their ties with fashion and within the fashion world. The designers seem stoked, “I am so pleased to share with so many the excitement of this collaboration with H&M,” said Donatella Versace. “To have my friend, the great, the amazing, the one and only Prince, and the extraordinary Nicki Minaj both perform at the event, will create exactly the feeling of joy and glamour I want this partnership to express.”
I hope very hard Nicki gets to sing with Prince. That would be “Fly.”
