[lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Usher[/lastfm] has been so busy ripping his pants at concerts and making Christmas music with [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Justin Beiber[/lastfm] he almost forgot to work on his own album. But all that has just changed because the “Without You” singer is back in the studio, and the results should prove to be mind blowing!
[photogallerylink id=119338 align=left]Collaborating with some of today’s biggest hit makers, his next and seventh album should prove to be something we haven’t heard from him yet. “Right now we’re just experimenting with different sounds,” said Rico Love, who penned “There Goes My Baby” off 2010′s Raymond v. Raymond. “My job is to make sure it stays classic. I don’t feel like Usher is just a Top 40 artist or just an R&B artist or just a rhythmic artist. I gotta make records that connect to all formats.”
[lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Rico Love[/lastfm] is just one of the many super producers that URRSher teamed with to work on this project. [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Jim Jonsin[/lastfm], [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Diplo[/lastfm] and [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Pharell[/lastfm] have all reportedly spent time in studio with Usher to work on his latest project.
The new album should be out next year and promises to be out of this world, One insider who heard some of the new material Usher is working with told Rap-Up.com, “It’s the most ridiculous music I’ve ever heard Jim and Rico make. Amazing!”
Now I can’t wait. This has me more excited than when I was learning to finger spell because of Usher’s quintessential slow jam, “Nice & Slow.”
