Monther Monster,[lastfm link_type=”artist_info”] Lady Gaga[/lastfm], has millions of children all over the world that she lovingly dubs her “Little Monsters.” With her maternal moniker, Gaga has taken care of her “monsters” since the beginning of her career as a pop artist: helping them explore their individuality, creating buffers against hate and bullying.

So it makes sense that Lady Gaga was the star performer at the BBC’s Children In Need Benefit where she performed her ever-popular self-esteem boosting hit, “Born This Way” and her newest single, “Marry The Night.”

Looking understated in basic black, Gaga left the theatrics at home in order to get across her message of hope, love, and embracing difference.
