The Grand Hustle captain, [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]T.I.[/lastfm] has been back and forth between two titles for his upcoming album. When he last checked in with us, it was still between “Trouble” and “Kill The King.” In a recent sit down and track preview session with Billboard, the Kang announced that his next album will be called Trouble Man.
[photogallerylink id=128447 align=left]He took time to talk about how the album is more about the experiences he’s had in the past than what’s going in his world right now, “A lot of times I’m taking myself out of my element,” T.I. explained in regards to Trouble Man. “This is the first project where I’m talking about things that I’ve experienced before that I’m not necessarily experiencing now cause I’m not doing a whole lot of partying. I do a little bit but not a lot… nothing like when I was in that life,” he continued.
I must say, I appreciate the turn around, especially since trouble seems to follow T.I. to the party scene, case in point: his incident with [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Diddy[/lastfm] at the BET Hip Hop Awards after party. Still, the more mature side of T.I. is no stranger to spitting fierce bars on rap songs either, so don’t think his hustle has changed, only matured.
Also Tip told the media about his new single, “Pyro,” which is scheduled to drop in days. “I have this one record, ‘Pyro’ that I’m proud of,” T.I. said, “‘Pyro’ is a straight party record. It’s nostalgic of those crazy nights, early mornings [but] just turned up.”
This marks the third single T.I. has released since his September release from federal custody, after “I’M Flexin'” and “Hear Ye, Hear Ye.”

‘Tis the season, isn’t it? Well Atlanta native, [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]B.o.B.[/lastfm] sure thinks so and that’s why the Grand Hustle artist took out his wallet and donated about $10,000 dollars to the Hosea Feed the Hungry and Homeless foundation in Atlanta.
Not only did he donate his money, but he also challenged other celebrities to reach out, give back and do the same. In fact, as incentive, Bobby Ray vowed that if he saw other celebs and musicians doing there part he would reach way down deep in his pocket to donate another $10,000.
Fortunately, [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Lil Wayne [/lastfm]and [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Baby[/lastfm] of YMCMB found it in the goodness of their hearts to give in the spirit of giving back and spent time handing out turkeys to New Orleans residents in need for the 16th annual Cash Money tradition.
“I’m able to give. Those times I did it years ago, I was just a kid and I was just doing it because Baby and Slim, we were giving away turkeys at a park,” Lil Wayne said of his donations. “Now it’s a totally different feeling because I can actually give you that and say here, ‘Happy Thanksgiving,’ and I can provide that for you. That’s a different feeling in general and it’s a beautiful feeling overall.”
Baby added that the sentiment for him was slightly different because he hoped that his giving will set an example for the people he’s helping, or act as encouragement because they were once in need too, “For me to see that they see us hopefully as inspiration to them, [then] something positive could come out of it. But we once was them.”
Hopefully, Bobby Ray took notice of Cash Money’s good deeds and is already pulling out his checkbook. Just in case though, I hope some other celebs take the hint and get into this season if giving!
In related news, expect a brand new free and EPIC mixtape release from B.O. andy day now.

Mother Monster has been taking pop music in different directions ever since she came on the scene in 2009. Her latest album, Born this Way, boasts country inspired tracks as well as the infection electro-repetition that Gaga has become known for. She’s even performed classic ballads with the likes of classic artist [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Tony Bennett[/lastfm] .
[photogallerylink id=132223 align=right][lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Lady Gaga[/lastfm], who is already hard at work on her next album has plans to add another direction to her pop career as well as another duet with a classic artist. This time, eccentric piano-man Sir [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Elton John[/lastfm] will accompany Gaga on a track, which will appear on her new album. The best part! He’s already way into the song! “My next duet, I believe, will be with Elton,” Gaga said. “I’m already working on my next album, and I played him a song that I wrote and he really loved it. I don’t want to give anything [else] away!”
In all honesty, Gaga’s latest collaboration shouldn’t come as much surprise, as the two have developed quite the relationship over the past few years. The two worked together on a song for the animated film, “Gnomeo & Juliet”. Gaga is the godmother to Elton’s son Zachary and it can be said that Gaga is strongly influenced by Elton’s performance. Escially when she wails it out just sitting at a piano.
Very Elton, if you ask me.
Expect a tight-lipped Gaga until they premier the song. Gotta love that big band sound!
