The time has come for the [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Black Eyed Peas[/lastfm] to go back in the refrigerator. At least for now. For the last few months rumors have been swirling around and around about the E.N.D of the Black Eyed Peas for good. [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Will.i.am[/lastfm] has been trying to stave off the premature goodbyes by addressing audiences and celebs alike on Twitter.
“Maybe @kanyewest was stating the fact we will take a rest for a little bit…but we the @bep will never die…never…impossible,” he once tweeted.
That “rest for a little bit” has officially started, the group announced on Ellen last week. Will explained the group’s pattern and assured the audience that this was just the quiet of the storm “[We] always have two cycles of records and then we take a break,” he said. The idea is that the members of the group use the break to work on solo projects, personal life reordering, resting, etc and then get back together and continue to make beautiful tunes.
And plans, they have. Will.i.am is working on his solo project #willpower. The first single, “T.H.E” just dropped and features [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Jennifer Lopez [/lastfm]and [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Mick Jagger[/lastfm]. [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Apl.de.ap[/lastfm] plans to use this time to get comfy in his role as education ambassador in the Philippines. [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Taboo[/lastfm] will spend more time with his family as well as promoting his new book, “Falling Up.” And Stacy “[lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Fergie[/lastfm]” Ferguson will use this time for some much needed R&R, not to mention, isn’t that biological clock of her ticking away? Expect some solo records and perhaps a baby!
Aww. We miss them already.

[photogallerylink id=128447 align=left]Tip Harris is a man of many sounds. Though he always maintains his authentic country twang in his memorable verses, the Kang is always looking to mix up his over sounds and tracks.
We already talked about how he has more than 40 tracks already recorded for this upcoming album, recently confirmed Trouble Man. But Grand Hustle captain,[lastfm link_type=”artist_info”] T.I. [/lastfm]is still working hard on making his first post prison album an epic, instant classic.
So say you want to make a hit record, who do you call? Well, T.I. didn’t have to consult [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]David Guetta[/lastfm] or [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]will.i.am[/lastfm] to confirm his inclination to work with R&B hit maker, [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Usher[/lastfm]. But even if he did, he’d receive on rave reviews about the voice responsible for hits like “O.M.G.” and “Without You.”
T.I. says he’s already working with Usher, brainstorming, if you will, and we can only imagine what will come from that collaboration. But we bet it will be awesome! “Usher and I have been putting our heads together on how we can present that perfect collaboration between him and myself,” T.I. told Billboard.
But that isn’t the only collab that T.I. has been contemplating. His search for different and unique sounds has him clamoring to work with many new artists. “I’d love to work with [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Ke$ha[/lastfm]. I want to work with [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Cee-Lo[/lastfm], [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Bruno Mars[/lastfm]. I’d love [to work wtih] [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Frank Ocean[/lastfm], [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Miguel[/lastfm]. I like to work with a lot of different people that can provide a lot of different sounds.”
Sounds good to me.

[photogallerylink id=129714 align=right][lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Kelly Rowland[/lastfm]’s latest album, Here I Am, speaks on some racy topics all throughout the album. From her hit single, “Motivation” that begs “Oh lover, don’t you dare slow down” to her track with Big Sean, “Lay It On Me” in which she prefers you “put your hands on [her] body” to the dance song “Down For Whatever” that is probably a little too self explanatory, it’s clear Kelly knows a thing or two about the horizontal samba.
Apparently, her song subjects had people wondering just what about sex was Kelly into. Well, we didn’t get any positions or anything but Kelly did talk about her love for a good sex store. “You can’t keep me away from a good sex shop,” Kelly said.
“Those are interesting places,” she continued, “I go with a bunch of people that way no one recognizes me.”
Rowland, who has recently experienced some sexual liberation in her early 30’s even claims she feared her mother’s response to the sexual topics she breaches in her latest album. “I was scared what my mom would say after [my song] ‘Motivation,’ but she was yelling, ‘Go lover,'” said the X Factor UK Judge.
These days, however, even though sex is on the menu, a baby is NOT what’s for dessert. She may be ready to help take care of a baby, via Mama Bey and Daddy Jay but as for a baby of her own, she’s looking for that rock first! “I’m 30 but I am not ready for kids yet, not till I have what Beyonce and Jay-Z have. When I held that child the other day it reminded me of Bey’s nephew Jules. I’m going to be there for Beyonce, changing diapers, feeding the baby and helping them as parents.”
Wonder if she is doing any holiday shopping at those sex stores? Hope so!
