It’s the most wonderful time of the year!

Yes, we’re all bundling up in our winter scarves, baking sugar cookies in the oven, and most importantly, we’re going all out with our holiday decorations!

One of our favorite annual traditions is watching The President & The First Family light The National Christmas Tree and we’re extremely proud to tell you that very own Carson Daly is hosting the big event tonight!

You may have wondered why our afternoon DJ Booker was filling in for Carson today.  It’s because Carson had to fly all the way out to Washington D.C. for tonight’s festivities.

The [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Black Eyed Peas[/lastfm], [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]One Republic[/lastfm], [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Big Time Rush[/lastfm], and our personal favorite, [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Kermit The Frog[/lastfm], will all be performing and it’s all capped off by President Barack Obama lighting a 26-foot-tall Colorado blue spruce tree.

Carson has been in rehearsals all morning and by the looks of his Twitter account, he’s having a darn good time!

You can watch the ceremony online here starting TODAY at 1:30pm PT.

Throughout the month of December, some of our public television stations will re-air the event. You can check your own local listings here.

  • Who are you most excited to watch tonight: President Obama, the [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Black Eyed Peas[/lastfm], or Carson? Let us know in the comments section below!
