AMP Music Minute: Lil Wayne Planning World Tour With Eminem, J.Lo Working On Greatest Hits Album And Beyonce’ Talks Pregnancy Cravings (page 2)
[photogallerylink id=130244 align=left]Jenny from the block has made her way around a block or two all around the world. The actress/singer from New York has reached the point in her career that only a few could ever even hope to attain: A Greatest Hits album.
[pullquote quote=""Now I'm just waiting for them to put on the schedule [and] let me know what songs we’re actually cutting and stuff like that.”]Contrary to popular belief, this doesn’t mean [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Jennifer Lopez [/lastfm]has reached the end of her hit list, we see this as more of a check point. Plus, she seems to be back in the swing of things this year, dropping an album, Love?, two videos and winding up on [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]will.i.am[/lastfm]‘s latest single, “T.H.E. (The Hardest Ever)”
Though there aren’t too many details on the album just yet, like a track list and release date, one of her label’s vocal coaches is excited to get to work on the album. “I just got the call a week ago that the greatest-hits album for Jennifer Lopez is coming up,” vocal producer Kuk Harrell told reporters.
“Now I’m just waiting for them to put on the schedule [and] let me know what songs we’re actually cutting and stuff like that.”
Luckily he gave us a lot to look forward to, like who Jenny will be sharing the studio with. “I think [when] I find out what the direction is, I will definitely go in the lab. I will get in the lab with[lastfm link_type="artist_info"] Tricky Stewart[/lastfm] and [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]The-Dream[/lastfm] and see what we can come up with for it,” added Harrell.
Hopefully, this means we can expect some brand new bonus tracks on that greatest hits album.
