Most of the Grammy Awards’ top nominees were quick to express thanks and gratitude to you, the fans, on their Twitter feeds after nominations were announced Tuesday night. See what [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Bruno Mars[/lastfm], [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Lady Gaga[/lastfm] and others had to say about their nominations.

Bruno Mars scored five nominations, including the big ones of Record, Song and Album of the Year.

As many young nominees are at times, he was at a loss for words when he addressed his fans. But luckily for us he was able to blurt something out by the time he sat down and hopped on Twitter.

Lady Gaga, meanwhile, posted two new hashtags to start new trends with her little monsters, without which she wouldn’t have nearly as much success. Gaga now has an amazing three (!) albums in a row nominated for Album of the Year.

[lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Rihanna[/lastfm] also landed a nomination for Album of the Year for Loud, and appears in four other categories. As she certainly realizes, it’s just another accolade in an epic year for Ri-Ri.
