Chicago News Anchor In Hot Water After Declaring “There Is No Santa!”
There are few things that we enjoy more than the holidays, so when someone out there tries to bring us down, we get a little defensive!
For example, Carson got all fired up today when he heard that a Chicago TV anchor recently declared that “There is no Santa!”
Well that’s news to us!!
Carson decided that enough was enough and he set the record straight this morning.
The Fox affiliate in Chicago was doing an op-ed segment on Santa and the bad economy.
When the news anchors started bantering back and forth, Robin Robinson claimed kids today have unreal expectations when it comes to Christmas gifts because they think the man in the red suit can bring them anything.
She dared to say live on air:
Stop trying to convince your kids that Santa is Santa. That’s why they have these high expectations. They know you can’t afford it, so what do they do? Just ask some man in a red suit. There is no Santa.
And to that we say, HOW DARE YOU?!
Carson had some words for the anchor gone rogue:
Clearly, she realized the error of her ways because she later apologized for her comments, calling them “careless and callous.”
We don’t know about y’all, but we’re still believers of good old Santa Claus. I mean, who else is eating the cookies we leave out by the tree??
