Mr. Steal-Your-Girl just celebrated his 27th birthday and reports show that he is still more than capable of taking your girl. Luckily, [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Trey Songz[/lastfm] isn’t doing too much girlfriend robbing these days. Instead he is enjoying his version of success, helping out great causes, and maybe interested in finding his own girlfriend for keeps.
The Virginia native, who calls himself the “Prince of VA.,” has been busy with benefit concerts and doing some touring in Africa. Not to mention he just released a 5-track EP entitled Inevitable. This are the moments that Trey sees his success in and does his best not to worry how others rate or rank him. “One thing I’ve learned throughout my travels, throughout my career, success and happiness can’t really be judged by what other people think,” he says. “You have to find that place for yourself and I’m successful as hell and I’m happy as a motherf***er.”
[photogallerylink id=74522 align=right]”I’ve done amazing things with my life,” he told reporters “I just turned 27, I just gave all of my earnings from a [benefit] show to a great cause [Angels with Heart Foundation] that I’m going to be able to help children eat on the weekend when they’re not in school. Because of the talent that God gave me, people love me all around the world.”
Unfortunately for Trey’s love life, getting “love…all around the world” doesn’t necessarily mean he’s found Mrs. Right. The thing is, he persists, is that he isn’t really looking either. But admits it could be what he feels he’s missing.
“Love is something that could come out of nowhere or love is something that could take forever to find,” he explained “Am I searching to be in love? No, not right at this moment. Would I love that in my life? I think that is a missing part of who I am right now but I don’t think there’s much space for that. So I’m honest with myself and I’m honest with the women in my life.”
No matter how slice it when it comes to Trey, seems his happiness is just Inevitable these days. It must feel good to be in a good place. We wish his continued success!
