OK, so we haven’t polled all old people around the world, but we want to believe this dashing 90-year-old grandfather and skeptical grandmother as they listen to dubstep, specifically [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Skrillex[/lastfm], for the first time.
Grandpa Al‘s grandson, The Red Gibson 22, attempts to explain the sound to him, but Grandpa just wants to know if people can “dance” to it and he doesn’t want to get “nasty,” but do teenagers actually listen to it?
Watch how he reacts to [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Foster the People[/lastfm]‘s “Pumped Up Kicks!” It’s priceless, really, and Grandpa Al definitely has a point.
Our favorite YouTube comment on the page says something like how cute it is that old people always want to dance.
It’s totally true. Dancing was the “old” way of getting exercise, socializing, and maybe putting the mack on a fine young lady, probably the pretty redhead to Grandpa’s right.
