[photogallerylink id=128447 align=right]Atlanta’s reigning king and hustle man, [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]T.I.[/lastfm] has announced some exciting news to help usher in the brand new year. According to his recent tweets, it looks like the Kang is dropping a brand new mixtape at the turn of the year.

The expletive ridden title for some of T.I.’s newest work, #F**kdacityup, will be available at midnight on January 1, 2012.

“Breaking News! Its official…I’m puttin out a mixtape midnight Jan.1 2012 called #F**kdacityup. Wanna be the 1st thing yall hear nxt year,” he wrote. “When da ball drop…We drop!!!! Out wit da old,in wit da TRUE!!!! Atown….Weeee Baaaaaack!!!!!”

This is just another step towards T.I.’s own personal redemption. In an interview he gave after being released from prison and the halfway house, T.I. insisted that he was still his biggest critic and if he feels he needs to prove something to someone, it’s himself. “I got something to prove to myself. I ain’t got nothing to prove to nobody else ’cause at the end of the day, I’m a marquee artist and I think my numbers speak for themselves.”

The last time we checked in with T.I., AMP DJ, Michelle found out that T.I. had already recorded over 40 songs for his upcoming album. We speculate that some of the tracks that haven’t made the album will be featured on this upcoming mix tape, but that remains to be corroborated.

T.I.’s 8th studio album, Trouble Man, is slated to come out in February. Though the date is tentative, the Grand Hustle captain already has singles and videos out in support of the project, ‘I’m Flexin” with [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Big K.R.I.T.[/lastfm] and the [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Pharrell Williams[/lastfm]  assisted “Hear Ye, Hear Ye.”
