Former American Idol contestant, [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Todrick Hall[/lastfm], wasn’t content with his fifteen minutes of fame from being on the show (or his [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Beyonce[/lastfm] flash mob at a Target in Los Angeles), so he made what could ostensibly be labeled as a post-modernist video piece about a man’s love affair with his Apple iPhone 4s and Siri-hanna, the [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Rihanna [/lastfm]version of Siri and their emoji-tional duet with each other to RiRi’s “We Found Love.”
We can’t decide whether we think this is hilarious or ridiculous or the perfect combination of both. There is definitely some depressing truth to the video.
How many people do you know that would rather have a “conversation,” typed or otherwise, with their phone than with an actual human being in front of them?
