Say what?

Breaking news for all you cell phone owners. The National Transportation Safety Board has recommended a nation-wide ban on using your cell phone while driving.

It shouldn’t be a huge adjustment for us Californians considering it’s been illegal for a few years now, but this ban would now include hands-free devices too!

Oh no they didn’t!

This means, no texting, tweeting, or Facebooking too.

In theory, it’s a great idea. The number of people who have gotten in accidents because they were distracted by a mobile device is growing exponentially each and every year.

But on the other hand, this issue is pretty hard to enforce. Even though it’s illegal in Cali, how many times have you spotted somebody who just can’t give it up? We’d bet it’s at least one person a day.

So if you were in Congress’ shoes, would you sign the bill? Carson and the rest of us on the morning show weighed the pros and cons:

  • Will you support the no talking while driving ban? Vote in our poll!
