As the current year dwindles down and the holiday season continues to roll in full force, we here at the AMP studios couldn’t help but catch the spirit.
It’s always around this time of the year that you can catch yourself humming [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Mariah Carey[/lastfm]’s Christmas classic, “All I Want for Christmas Is You” while refilling your cup of coffee in the break room. Or, of course, daydreaming of ugly holiday sweaters.
[photogallerylink id=132135 align=right]If you happen to not celebrate Christmas, the holiday season is much the same, gathering Hanukkah gifts, making Kwanza gifts, planning Winter Solstice parties. The point is, the year is almost over and everyone regardless of everything else is ready to party!
So how do we kick off the holiday celebrations, you ask? This week’s Throwback is all about love and family and spending time with the people you adore, surrounded by party favors or better yet, gifts! “It’s the best time of the year for the family,” belts [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]JC Chasez[/lastfm].
Next thing you know, all the boys of [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]*NSync[/lastfm] have joined in and are singing with holiday cheer to their 1998 hit song “Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays” from their very first holiday album, Home For Christmas.
“It’s a wonderful feeling/Feel the love in the room/From the floor to the ceiling/It’s that time of year”
Oh yeah! Don’t forget to have a moment of silence for the late Gary Coleman, who plays Santa’s main elf and comes up with the brilliant idea to bring in *NSync to save the day after Santa goes down with a tummy ache. (That green suit is fresh!)
We don’t want to keep you waiting any longer. Enjoy!
