Poor [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Rihanna[/lastfm] has been sick off and on again for the last few weeks now and it doesn’t seem to be easing up despite her being in the middle of a world tour. But while her previous incidents have been either before or after a show, her latest episode happened right in the middle of her set.
This past weekend, while performing her hit single, “What’s My Name” to a sold out crowd in Portugal, the Barbadian songstress had to run off stage right in the middle of the song to “throw up” she later revealed on Twitter. Her dancers kept up the pace of the show, and Ri-Ri joked that she made it back to the stage “juuuust in time for RudeBoy,” she wrote.
Rihanna’s health problems began last October when the singer was rushed to a hospital when performing in Sweden. She was diagnosed with the flu and exhaustion, which led to her having to cancel a number of shows. At that point her doctors suggested that the singer slow down on the partying during her tour.
Reports claimed that Rihanna’s famous friends were so concerned that they reached out to her, including an emotional phone call with Beyonce, in which Bey also suggested that Rihanna take a break as soon as possible.
Gonna have to agree with that one. Get well soon, Rihanna!

The best kind of gifts are the ones that allow you to give back while giving. And while that may seem like a lot of giving, if Curtis “[lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]50 Cent[/lastfm]” Jackson has anything to with it, that’s just the beginning.
[photogallerylink id=135100 align=left]As of late, 50 has made it a point to make all of his products mean more than just their intrinsic value. His Street King Facebook initiative pledged to feed a child in need in Africa for every like that his Street King energy drink page received. He took on the ambitious yet lofty goal of feeding one billion meals to people over the next five years through the United Nations World Food Programme.
Fitty’s latest initiative has him focused on feeding America in a much similar fashion. Through every sale of 50’s new headphones by SMS Audio online and domestically, 50 pledged to provide 250 meals to people through the organization, Feeding America.
This is one more step 50 Cent has taken towards more conscious business practices. In fact, he has even suggested that more business practices participating by not only provide a consumer good, but also a good deed, could ease a lot of the world’s current political tensions.
“I think business is the answer for finding finances for situations that have been unanswered and untouched,” 50 added. “If young entrepreneurs follow in my footsteps, with having a charitable business model that actually gives back, then you don’t have people standing at Occupy Wall Street, because they’re aware that the major corporations are conscious of them.”
Sounds pretty logical. Check out SMS Audio by Fitty!

[lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Drake[/lastfm], it’s fair to say, got his start rapping on Degrassi: The Next Generation as former basketball star, Jimmy Brooks. Through that role he was able to explore all types of acting from drama to comedy. And while the topics tended to get heavy on the show, characters like Jimmy often tried to make light of their situations with either comedy or music, and sometimes both.
[photogallerylink id=113463 align=right]Real life Drake apparently employs both techniques in his life, which has drawn the actor turned rapper back to the acting game. He recently said that he has plans to make his big screen debut, and hopefully in a comedy feature. The Toronto rapper even narrowed down who’d he’d love to be directed by, if he had his way.
“I love comedy and comedic timing. But I just want to do a good comedy film, whether it’s a Judd Apatow dry humor film. I’m definitely shaking the right hands and meeting the right people,” said the Canada native.
As for right now, Drake announced a US-UK “Club Paradise” tour in support of his new album, Take Care. Drizzy will begin his US journey next February in Florida and conclude in sunny San Diego around the middle of March.
Many of his venues may be smaller than you’d expect of a headlining artist like Drake, but that is exactly the point. “I just like the energy,” he said of smaller club-like venues. “I like people to feel close to me because at the end of the day, I’m still at the beginning of my career so, watching me from the 500 level of an arena, I don’t know if I’m mentally there yet. I don’t know if I can mentally accept that.”
Check him out in LA on March 5 at the USC Galen Center.
