[photogallerylink id=128777 align=left] It’s hard to party rock with a sore back, just ask [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]LMFAO[/lastfm]’s [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Sky Blu[/lastfm]. The party-rocking duo had to postpone the last three dates of their Canadian tour because Sky Blu is still experiencing complications from his severe back injury. He tried toughing it out and performing the remaining shows from a mobility chair.
After only one performance though, his doctor stepped in and said that the severity of his injury would prevent him from continuing.
Given that Blu has three herniated discs, it’s definitely best to take the doctor’s advice and chill out. The worst thing he could do right now is reinjure himself and possibly cause even more or permanent damage.
His doctor has reportedly prescribed him to rest and rehabilitate for the next month. That means no traveling, no performing, and of course, no wiggling.
When LMFAO performed at AMP’s Pink at the Palladium, both gents were in fine form. The wiggle was on point and the shuffle never looked better. We can totally understand them wanting to give that much effort every time.
Sky Blu wrote a statement to inform and apologize to fans about his situation, “First off I would like to apologize to our fans. I am disappointed that I’m unable to come see everyone and perform. Unfortunately I need to take this time to get healthy and get my wiggle back.”
The shows have been moved to February of next near. No exact dates have been announced yet, eh.
