Everyone always says that[lastfm link_type="artist_info"] B.o.B [/lastfm]is the modern equivalent of [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Andre 3000[/lastfm], although how that makes sense when Andre 3000 is still tearing through tracks with his quirky rhymes is beyond us.

But Bobby Ray does share a lot of artistic qualities with the Outkast singer which is evident on his new track “Play the Guitar.”

From his sophomore album Strange Clouds coming out in March, B.o.B’s second single is exciting because it sounds nothing like anything else on the scene right now.

“Play The Guitar” fuses an experimental rock ‘n roll sound with old school hip-hop, dope samples, and a future-forward kind of energy that we think only[lastfm link_type="artist_info"] Kid Cudi[/lastfm]‘s WZRD could compete with.
