[photogallerylink id=81871 align=right]When you are [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Diddy[/lastfm], you can do a number of things that most people can only dream about. But what Diddy excels at is something that most people do or at least try to do every day of their lives: make money. The hip hop mogul has spawned an entire way of life based on his Bad Boy record label, and at each turn you can bet that you’ll be able to own a piece of the enterprise. His next business venture is a variation of his already expanding Ciroc Vodka brand. So Diddy headed down to Mexico to research the art of making tequila.
After announcing that he had “huge announcements” for the new year Diddy said “The only other thing I can tell you that I am working on is I have been spending some time in Mexico learning about the art of tequila. I’m a huge tequila fan.”
Though Mr. Combs has recently added to his label’s roster with Cleveland rapper [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Machine Gun Kelly[/lastfm] and Bronx rapper[lastfm link_type="artist_info"] French Montana[/lastfm], he personally is transitioning away from music and this endeavor is a clear indication of that fact. “I’m looking forward to 2012; it’s a huge transition for me out of music onto the big screen and continuing my legacy as a producer.” He iterated.
But being that Diddy is always going to be Diddy he concluded on to speak on some of his other accomplishments, not to brag though, obviously. “You know, I’m one of the most successful African-American television executive producers in history,” he continued “I’ve had six shows on the air at one time. I don’t say that in a braggadocio way. But you should definitely remember this conversation and look back at it and say, ‘I remember he told me he was going to make some huge announcements.’”
We got it, Diddy. We got it. Now bring us drinks!
