[photogallerylink id=128447 align=left]Being a family man first, [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]T.I.[/lastfm] has fortunately had his new VH1 reality show, “T.I. & Tiny: The Family Hustle” green lit for a brand new second season. Add this to his upcoming album and the promotion of his label mates’ upcoming albums and T.I. is still a very busy man.
With even more exposure into the rapper and actor’s family life he’s expressly stated the necessity between the “two” T.I.’s.
“When I go home, that’s who I am, what you see on the show. Now, what you’re gonna hear through them records is when I hit the streets, when I’m out movin’ and groovin’ — this is the person that must maintain this personality because it’s a cold world out here,” he said. “At home, I could be Mr. Harris or Daddy or whatnot, but when I’m out here in these streets it’s gonna have to be Tip because that’s what it takes to make it out here.”
After dropping his free mix tape on New Years Eve, the Grand Hustle captain answered what was next for him in the New Year. Besides getting his own hustle on, he has plans to support his artists as well.
“What’s next for me? New year, new money champ. You got the [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]B.o.B[/lastfm] album Strange Clouds, and I’m looking forward to that and I’m really proud of that project. I just signed a deal for the second season of The Family Hustle, so there will be a season two officially.”
He continued on talking more in depth about his upcoming project. “The album Trouble Man. I’m continuing to work. I’m trying to bridge the gap between giving cats Trap Muzik and the “Live Your Life”‘s and “Whatever You Like”‘s from Paper Trail. That’s where I’m at. But that’s an excellent problem to have.”
Certainly a feat to merge those two very different sounds and audiences but if anyone can do it, its T.I.
