AMP Music Minute: T.I. Reality Show Reboots For Second Season, Kanye Talks #richpeopleproblems On Twitter And Katy Perry Back In Spotlight At People’s Choice Awards (page 2)
So early one London morning, everyone’s favorite rapper to hate, [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Kanye West[/lastfm], took to his Twitter unleashing about 70 messages about topics ranging from his music, to fashions, to his desire to help make the world better.
He began simple enough, clearing the air about what some already expected: that he was currently without representation because he broke ties with William Morris Endeavor after his agent, Cara Lewis quit working there. “More clarity… I have no agency representing me currently… William Morris was fired after Cara lewis quit. I love Cara Lewis : ),” he tweeted.
[photogallerylink id=94666 align=left]From there, he seemed to have something to say about everything. Like how he has a shoe line with Nike but is noticeably peeved he isn’t allowed to make more, “I designed a sneaker called the YEEZY with Nike. I’m “allowed” to design 1 pair of sneakers every 2 years. I have more ideas…”
But Yeezy also addressed more serious issues, “We can collectively effect the world trough design. We need to pick up where Steve Jobs left off… When I said wealthy I wanted to point out there are so many billionaires in the world that can come together and help to redesign it… Help education. School systems were designed to turn people into factory workers… Schools should be designed to prep human beings for real life.”
I know this is not a very rapper thing to say but I haven't bought a new car or piece of jewelry in about 2 years…—

But still one of Kanye’s most exciting announcements had to be his new company, DONDA. “DONDA is a design company which will galvanize amazing thinkers and put them in a creative space to bounce there dreams and ideas…” wrote West.
He finished almost as simply as he began. “If anyone would like to reach out email us at contactDONDA@gmail.com… I just wanted to share what’s been on my mind…”
The final tweets of his lengthy Twitter message consisted of a quote from Nobel-prize winning playwright, George Bernard Shaw. It’s clear Kanye wanted to end his thoughts on a positive note.
“‘If you have an apple and I have an apple and we exchange these apples then you and I will still each have one apple. …. But if you have an idea and I have an idea and we exchange these ideas, then each of us will have two ideas.’ – George Bernard Shaw”
