A few days ago, we reported that Russell Brand was allegedly “uninvited” to Katy Perry’s first public appearance at the People’s Choice Awards. Perry is nominated for seven awards and the people running the event didn’t want to make her feel uncomfortable.

But yesterday, #Katycats tweeted that she would not be feeding into the gossip by showing her face.
