About 22 years ago, when hip-hop hero, Kanye West, was watching his grades instead of making everyone Watch The Throne, a 12-year-old Yeezy read a beautiful, politically-tinged poem called “His Name Is Love” at what looks like a school assembly.
Not only did he read a poem that includes a line that could easily go into one of his songs today (“What this man was fighting for, so blacks, Hispanics, Jews, and Asians could put their foot in the door”), but he dedicated the poem to Martin Luther King, Jr.
